The years almost up and I find myself just in side the Welsh border (Chepstow) and blown away by what is without doubt “The Best Ever” Flat White at Coffee #1 I selected their Guatemala Single Origin Bean - stunning depth (strength & body) with lovely liquorice / aniseed undertones. Before the Flat White I had their Lentil Dahl soup served with a Naan which was also deserving of a full 5 The problem is ... this is a fair old drive from London.
Nice spot for a good coffee and we also went for the tea cakes which were huge.

Ugly Mug for breakfast, then here, always. My first Coffee 1# experience, here, Chepstow. 2024, new bike, rode down from Coventry. The first place to visit is here. Lovely in the sun or sit in the shade. Parking, acros the road on 2 wheels.
We have been frequent customers for over a year, and we love the place. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food and drink is delicious.
Great drinks selection, super friendly staff, love the loyalty card scheme and that fact its dog friendly means its definately a new found favourite in chepstow. Can sit outside if you like or large sitting area inside and a large area to sit with well behaved dogs Our pooch loved it as much as we did.
This place is a gem. Great coffee and service. Special mention to Becky who is very friendly and makes you feel especially welcome. Definitely a good reason to keep coming back!
Fantastic coffee shop coffee is perfect every time the staff and manager very friendly and polite knows how to look out for their customers we travel from Bristol uk to come here knowing we will have a relaxed and enjoyable time and perfect coffee ….. totally recommend you won’t regret visiting
